Daddy’s Day with the babes

In the spring, Mommy took the day with Aunt Kimmie, Daddy had the day with the beautiful babes of our family.  They had a great time – as seen in the amazing amount of smiles I see in the photographic evidence as well as the few calls I got during the day.  One call was from Chik-Fil-A; a favorite and very special hot spot for our family.  They love the playground and Mommy and Daddy love the fact you can get a fruit bowl as a side!  Well, that and the lemonade, chicken nuggets and char-grilled chicken sandwiches.

Daddy ventured to one of the many local parks in our area – one that has a nature museum as well as many walking paths.   A video Chris took is hilarious – but too big to post.  It is of the kids in the nature exploration area with puppets of local woodsland creatures.  IMG_1944 IMG_1929

I’m sure that Hudson is doing his best “roar” by  the way his hands are formed as claws! :o)IMG_1933

CLOSING DAY!

Today we closed on our new house!  We are officially homeowners in the area we “moved to” nearly 2 1/2 years ago.  I actually forgot my camera today.  ugh.  But pictures are to come soon!
